The office of MP Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D. in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform held its turn-over ceremony of Multi-purpose building with Solar Drier to the beneficiary under the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) 2020 of MP Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D at Barangay Renede, Upi, Maguindanao.

Present during the activity were MAFAR Officials including Director General For Agriculture Daud K. Lagasi, Ph.D., Provincial Director Ronjamin M. Maulana, Ph.D, Director II for Agricultural Services Engr. Ismail A. Guiamel, BTA Secretary General Prof. Raby Angkal, Municipality of Upi, Maguindanao, Councilor Hon. Alex Penialosa, and Chief-of-staff of the Office of MP Yacob, Prof. Hashim B. Manticayan.

Sir Daud K. Lagasi stated that the construction of the facility will aid the farmers of the area to store and process their products through drying. He commend the engineers of MAFAR for the planning, LGU officials of Upi for their support and cooperation, and to the Office of MP Yacob for the successful turn-over of the project.

Under the leadership of BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim, Al-Haj, the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) is funded by the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) implemented by members of the Bangsamoro Parliament and in partnership with different ministries.
