SHARIFF AGUAK – On April 16, 2022, The Municipal MAFAR Officer (MMO) Harmie V. Masukat conducted a meeting together with the president of the nine (9) Irrigators Association (IA) headed by Anwarudin (Mickie) Ampatuan, president of IA Shariff Irrigators at barangay Tapikan Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao.
The meeting aims to convince the farmers to register in Registry System for the Basic Sector of Agriculture for them to receive assistance from the MAFAR-BARMM. the meeting was attended by the AL Mubarak Irrigators association headed by Hussain Guiamel, Al Shariff Irrigators Association Datu Anwarudin “Macky” Ampatuan, and the other nine (9) Irrigators Association, and NIA Water Master and supervisor, Rasid Lampak, LGUs, and Farmers.
MMO Shariff Aguak Harmie V. Masukat said. “To receive the assistance given by the MAFAR-BARMM, all farmers should be registered in RSBSA so that they can be included in a list of farmers who are subject as beneficiaries of rice seeds and other agriculture products.”
Farmers must be registered to RSBSA to have access to any assistance coming from the MAFAR-BARMM and also must be identified the area by getting geotagging to receive the accurate number of rice seeds in their respective area.” Al Shariff Irrigators president Datu Mackie Ampatuan, said.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fishery, and Agrarian Reform through Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D. aspires to continue assisting farmers within the BARMM jurisdiction.
