READ| The staff of the Office of Member of Parliament (MP) Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., under the directive and guidance of their principal MP Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., has simultaneously conducted relief assistance to four evacuation centers in the municipality of Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte on July 26-28, 2024.
These four evacuation centers have served as refuges for numerous families and victims who have been profoundly impacted by the recent surge of man-made disasters that have devastated numerous barangays within the municipality. The emergency relief packages included clean water, food, and hygiene kits, addressing the immediate needs of 937 households. These needs are identified based on meticulous assessment and validation conducted by the office a day before the distribution to ensure their adequacy and appropriateness, ensuring that the relief efforts effectively meet the pressing needs of the evacuees.
This initiative demonstrates the continuing efforts and dedication of MP Yacob and the Bangsamoro Government under the leadership of BARMM Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim to support and uplift the community in times of crisis, showcasing a strong resolve to address the immediate needs of those affected and pave the way for their recovery.
