READ| The Office of the Member of Parliament (MP) Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., successfully conducted on August 21, 2024 a groundbreaking ceremony for the two covered court projects, each worth ₱7,900,000.00 funded through the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of MP Yacob and implemented by the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) in Barangay Pikeg, Shariff Saydona and Barangay Libutan, Mamasapano in the province of Maguindanao Del Sur.
The construction of these covered courts marks a significant milestone in the ongoing development initiatives within the region, aimed at improving public infrastructure and providing communal spaces for the residents of Maguindanao Del Sur.
“Today, we witness the covered court project undertaken by our esteemed MP Mohammad S. Yacob. This project symbolizes the dedication of the Bangsamoro government, under the leadership of our Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim, to the development of our community. May this project bring progress, unity, and development to the Bangsamoro people. This is the Bangsamoro service brought to you by the office of MP Mohammad S. Yacob.” Ms. Norhayah E. Datumanong, Supervising Political Affairs Officer III of the Office of MP Yacob, said in her ceremonial message.
Present during the ceremony were staff of the Office MP Yacob, Engineer Samir Al-Fayed A. Chio of the Ministry of Public Works (MPW), Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) Engineer Esmail Guiamel, Director II for Agriculture and Former Director General Daud K. Lagasi, Barangay Libutan officials, the contractor of the said project and the land owner of the project site.
