LOOK: The Office of MP Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D. visited today the Gani L. Abpi College Inc. formerly Central Maguindanao Institute, at Brgy. Buayan, Datu Piang, Maguindanao.

The office of MP Yacob was invited to an Islamic Symposium with the theme: “SYMPOSIUM ON YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND UNDERSTANDING BANGSAMORO STRUGGLE FOR PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT”.

Political Officer of the Office of MP Yacob, Prof. Hashim B. Manticayan, MAIS delivers his lectures to the youth attendees of the said activity and gave them a brief presentation of the history of the Bangsamoro Struggle.

Prof. Manticayan, during his lectures, also talks about how the youth are the future leaders of the Bangsamoro and they will continue what their predecessors have started in the first place.

Before the said symposium ends, a series of Q&A between Prof. Manticayan and Youth Students was conducted. One of the students asked Prof. Manticayan how will the Bangsamoro homeland achieve lasting peace and development without conflict. Prof. Manticayan answered that they (the youth students) are the key to peace and development, that their education right now is the answer.

The program ends with the rewarding of “Certificate of Recognition” to the office and to Prof. Manticayan.
