“Gathering for the sake of Allah”
LOOK: In aid of forming future legislative leaders, the office of MP Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., today, conducted its monthly Halaqat session with young leaders from different college schools, and it is facilitated by the office and supervised by Prof. Hashim B. Manticayan.
Initially taking place in mosques, Halaqat operated as a “…principal form of schooling during the time of the Prophet and, after his death, during the time of his companions,” and continued as an important function of Islamic teaching and learning as the faith spread geographically in the centuries that followed.
The office of MP Mohammad S. Yacob, not only conducting this spiritual activity for young leaders but also for its office staff, and thru this activity, strengthens the participant’s faith(Imaan) and their Islamic Values which is one of the bases of the Bangsamoro Government’s advocacy, Moral Governance.
