๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ง๐๐จ | The Office of Member of the Parliament (MP) Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D. in partnership with the Ministry of Health (MOH), spearheads the Medical Outreach Program (MOP) at Barangay Bakat, Shariff Saydona Mustapha Maguindanao on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
Together with the Medical Personnel of the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) Maguindanao, residents of Barangay Bakat and its nearby barangays benefited from the free medical consultations, medicines and vitamins, pre-natal check-ups, vaccines, circumcision, eye screening with reading glasses, and assistive devices such as adult wheelchairs, canes, and crutches for senior citizens and PWDs. They also receive dental kits and hygiene kits.
Barangay Captain Hon. Norudin Sapal Utto expressed his gratitude emphasizing that this is not the first time their barangay received assistance from the Office of MP Yacob.
โMaraming salamat sa Bangsamoro Government, sa MOH, at lalong lalo na sa opisina ni sir MP Yacob, sa mga programang kanyang binigay sa aming barangay, katunayan hindi ito ang unang beses na nag abot ng tulong si sir MP Yacob sa aming barangay.โ Hon.Utto said.
Furthermore, Hadji Abusama Sulaiman expressed his sincere gratitude for the free medical services they received, stating that he is too old and that going to the hospital is very inconvenient for him, considering that their barangay is too far from the hospital.
โPedsukur sukur ako kanu Bangsamoro Government labi labi kani MP Mohammad Yacob, saki na matuwa ako den, diaku den ger makagaga mangay sa Hospital mapacheck up sa doctor sabap sa su lekami a barangay na mawatan pan sa hospital.โ Hadji Abusama said in his local dialect.
This initiative of the Office of MP Yacob is anchored with the Moral Governance Agenda of BARMM Interim Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim, in which one of its arms is to bring the Government closer to the people.
