𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃| The Office of the Member of Parliament (MP) Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D. has successfully conducted a series of turned-over ceremonies of two (2) packages of native chicken and one (1) package of duck farming for identified farmer-beneficiaries from various municipalities in Maguindanao del Sur, and Maguindanao del Norte on January 12, 2023.

Funded through the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of MP Yacob — the free-range chicken package includes two hundred ten (210) heads of mixed native chicken; eight ( 8 ) rolls of the garden net; forty (40) bags of 50 kgs of feeds; two hundred ten (210) units of the chicken feeder; and two hundred ten (210) units of the chicken waterer. While the duck farming package includes one hundred (100) heads of native duck; ten (10) bags of 50 kg feeds; and four (4) rolls of the garden net.

The said livestock, implemented through the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), aims to increase livestock production and help alleviate the lives of the farmers in the Bangsamoro Region.

Present during the ceremony were the MAFAR TDIF Program Team led by Johnson Paglala – Chairman of the MAFAR Inspector team, Al-Qahtani Badrudin – TDIF Program Assistant, and Najim Juanday – a representative from COA; and Supervising Political Affairs Officer I, Walid Y. Iskak, RN, MPA, and other staff of MP Yacob.
