𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃| The Office of Member of the Parliament (MP) Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D. has successfully conducted a series of turned-over ceremonies of six (6) packages of free-range chicken and two (2) packages of duck farming to identified farmer-beneficiaries from various municipalities in Maguindanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Norte, and Cotabato City on January 9, 2023.

The Free-Range Chicken package includes one hundred ten (110) heads of mixed native chicken; four (4) rolls of garden net; twenty (20) bags of 50 kgs of feeds; one hundred ten (110) units of chicken feeder; and one hundred ten (110) units of chicken waterer. While the Duck Farming package includes one hundred (100) heads of native duck; fifty (50) bags of 50 kgs feeds; fifty (50) doses of veterinary drugs; 10 bottles of 250ml electrolytes; 1kg vetracin premium powder; one (1) unit of incubator; five (5) rolls of garden net; ten (10) units of feeding trough; 35 inches of linear plastic chicken feeder, three (3) units of a wheelbarrow; and five (5) units of water tank storage were funded through the Transitional Development Impact Fund of MP Yacob.

The said livestock, implemented through the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), aims to increase livestock production and help alleviate the lives of the farmers in the Bangsamoro Region.

Present during the ceremony were the MAFAR TDIF Program Team led by Ms. Norhammine Nul, Supervising Political Affairs Officer I (SPAOI) Walid Y. Iskak, RN, MPA, and other staff of MP Yacob.
