upon acquiring the certification of quorum, the COMMITTEE ON BANGSAMORO JUSTICE SYSTEM started, “We need to double our effort to work toward the establishment of a justice system within BARMM,” said the Committee Chair MP Atty. Jose I. Lorena.

Right after, MP. Baileng S. Mantawil presented to the committee her authored Proposed Resolution No. 31 entitled: “ RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SUPREME COURT OF THE PHILIPPINES FOR THE TEN (10) YEARS MORATORIUM ON THE APPLICATION OF THE QUALIFICATION OF THE SHARI’AH JUDGES AS STIPULATED IN THE BANGSAMORO ORGANIC LAW”. She illustrated the meats and the context of the resolution and presented to the committee the objectives and the needs of its passage.

Members of the said committee who are present physically or via zoom, including MP Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., actively participated in the scrutiny of the mentioned resolution. All recommendations and suggestions are well taken and noted by the committee and the resolutions’ author.

The committee meeting officially adjourned with two (2) approved resolutions embodied in the committee’s Official Business(OB)
